tHE gROWTH

Westland researched into understanding the local market and made initial investments in equipment, but operational activities hadn't begun. This year ended with a financialsetback.

Westland finally commenced operation in September, however,challenges persisted leading to a substantial loss.

Westland continued its commitment to improvement. Additional investments were made in equipment, resulting an increased bird production. This dedication paid off as the company achieved profitability for the first time. This milestone not only marks a turnaround for Westland, but also showcases its resilience and dedication to success within the poultry industry.

UAE supports poultry production for food independence, including price reductions and subsidies. Westland expands with new chicken houses, increasing capacity. They exercise a purchase option, expecting a profit boost. 2024 plans include new investments and team upgrades. Production in new facilities starts by May 2024, with slaughterhouse upgrades by September 2024.

In 2025, Westland will achieve full production with upgraded equipment and expanded capacity. They'll reap benefits from increased quantity and improved margins through direct distribution channels, owing to continuous production. Subsequent years will focus on refining production, processing, and distribution processes.
